Navigate to the Calendar
Begin by opening SteepleMate and locating the 'Calendar' section on your main dashboard.
Selecting the Date
Right-click on your chosen date within the calendar. A menu will appear; select 'Add Event' to initiate your event creation process.
Configure Your Event
Naming Your Event - In the 'Name Event' field, enter a clear and descriptive title for your event. This title will be visible in the calendar view.
Adding a Description - Provide detailed information about the event in the 'Description' box, including the purpose, target audience, and any other relevant details.
Choosing a Color - Select a color to represent your event on the calendar, aiding in quick identification and categorization of different types of events.
Enabling RSVPs - Opt to collect RSVPs by checking the 'Enable RSVPs' box, giving you an estimate of attendance.
Setting Visibility - Decide on the event's visibility. For public events, choose the option to make it visible to everyone. For more private gatherings, select 'Private' and specify the groups or individuals who can view the event.
Adjusting Time/Date - Ensure the event’s time and date reflect the actual schedule, including any multi-day or specific start and end times.
Saving the Event - Click 'Save' to finalize and add your event to the church calendar, where it will be displayed with the selected details.
