How to Print Mailing Labels in SteepleMate

1. In SteepleMate, go to the Communicate menu and select Mailing Lists.


2. Set Mailing List Options

Choose who to include: Church Family, Contact, Guest, Organization, Other, or Vendor. Only the categories you check will be included in the mailing list.

Choose mailing list options
  1. Get By Family groups people by household so one label is created per family.
  2. Include Titles (Mr/Mrs/etc) adds name titles to the labels.
  3. Captilize prints names and addresses in uppercase.
  4. Include Inactive People includes records marked inactive (leave unchecked to exclude).
  5. Sort by Birth/Anniv Date sorts by birthday/anniversary date instead of alphabetically (optional).
Turn an option on by clicking it so it shows with a green check.

At the bottom of the page, choose one of: 
  1. Choose By Group - select people based on specific groups.
  2. Choose Individuals - pick specific people one by one. 
  3. Choose Everyone - includes everyone that matches the filters above.



3. You'll see the Mailing Labels preview screen with all the labels laid out. 


At the top: 
  1. Click any name to mark that label for exclusion.
  2. Click Apply to: 
    1. Remove the labels you marked for exclusion, an/or
    2. Refresh the labels if you've recently updated a person's address information.
  3. Click Back to return to the selection screen. 
  4. Click Export to Excel if you want a spreadsheet version of the mailing list instead of printed labels. 
Take a moment to scroll through and confirm the names and addresses look correct. 



Idea
Test output prior to printing all sheets to determine correct printer margin settings. These are designed to print on Avery 5160 (or similar) labels that have 3 columns of 10 labels per sheet.
