Creating Supply Requests & Sign Up Forms for Church Services and Special Events
Need a private sign-up form for a meal-train or a way to track who is donating to the Christmas drive? SteepleMate's new Supply Requests feature allows churches to create and manage supply forms or sign-ups for church services and special events. This feature ensures efficient organization and participation from church members, visitors, guests, and donors. Access Requirements
To use the Supply Requests feature effectively, you must have at least administrator access. This level of access is required to manage church services, events, and create corresponding supply request forms. Once these forms are created, they become available to anyone with access to the system, including users with kiosk access, such as church members, visitors, guests, and donors.
1. Creating a Supply Request Form
Step-by-Step Guide:
Navigate to Church Services:
- Log into your SteepleMate account.
- From the Manage menu, select Church Services.
Select a Service:
- Find the future church service for which you want to create a supply request form.
- Click the light blue Supplies button.
Add New Items:
- In the supply request table, select New.
- Label the item, add a description, and specify the quantity needed.
- Click Update to save your changes.
- To add another item, such as a cleaning crew, click New again. For example, if you need at least two people to help clean the church, add this request and click Update.
2. Distributing the Sign-Up Form
Step-by-Step Guide:
Get the Link:
- From the drop-down menu, get the link to the volunteer form.
- Copy the link.
Share the Link:
- Share the link with your congregation via email, social media, or any other effective communication method.
3. Adding a Special Event with a Sign-Up Form
Step-by-Step Guide:
Create a Special Event:
- Navigate to the Events section.
- Create your event, such as a Back-to-School Dash.
Add Supply Requests:
- After creating the special event, click the Supplies button.
- In the table, select New, write out the description of each item you need, and specify the quantity required.
- Click Update to save.
4. Volunteering as a Church Member
Step-by-Step Guide:
Access Supply Requests:
- As a church member, log into SteepleMate.
- Notice the new plus sign on the left navigation panel if there are new supply request forms available.
Navigate to Supply Requests:
- From the left navigation, select Kiosk/Interact.
- Select Supply Requests.
Choose Your Event:
- Select the date or event you want to sign up for.
Volunteer:
- Click the Volunteer button next to the item you want to contribute.
- Add the quantity you plan to bring.
- Click Update.
