📍 Tracking Sacraments: Baptism, Confirmation, First Communion

📍 Engagement Monitoring: First Visit Date, Follow-Up Completed

📍 Membership Records: Membership Start Date, Renewal Date

Info
**This feature is available for both Free and Pro subscribers**

How to Customize Date Fields

Accessing the Date Field Settings

1. Log in to SteepleMate.

2. Click on the Admin Menu in the top navigation.

3. Select Organization Settings from the dropdown.

4. Scroll down to Information Entry & Visibility Defaults.

5. Locate the Custom Date Fields section at the bottom.

Customizing a Date Field

Each date field can be customized with:

  1. Field Name – The label that will appear in member profiles.
  1. Checkbox Title (Optional) – A checkbox to confirm the event occurred, even if the date is unknown.
  1. Confirmation Message (Optional) – A message to guide users when selecting the checkbox.

Example:

• Field Name: Baptism Date

• Checkbox Title: Is Baptized

• Confirmation Message: Has this person been baptized?

Info
If you leave the Checkbox Title and Confirmation Message blank, the field will function as a standard date field.

Saving & Applying Your Changes

1. Once you’ve entered your custom field details, click Save Changes at the bottom of the page.

2. Navigate to a member’s profile to verify your changes.

3. Your customized date fields will now appear under the Date Section of the profile.

Using Custom Date Fields in Reports

• These fields can be pulled into custom reports called Dynamic Groups to help track church engagement and key milestones.

• To generate reports using these fields, go to Dynamic Reports and filter by the specific date field you’ve customized.
