Shepherd AI Insights highlights follow-up needs and helps you review prayer activity and nearby community events using information already recorded in SteepleMate. Follow these steps to turn it on and choose whether to include a summary of prayer trends.

Turn on Shepherd AI Insights

1. Open SteepleMate

Sign in at steeplemate.com. From the left menu, select Administration.

Open Administration from the dashboard.

2. Choose Shepherd AI Insights

Under Administration, select Shepherd AI Insights.

Select Shepherd AI Insights in the Administration menu.

3. Select your insight options

The setup page includes an option for upcoming community events near the church and an option to include the AI note on prayer trends. Check “Include the AI note on prayer trends” if you want a brief trends summary alongside the other insights. Leave the community events option selected if you want a list of local happenings over the next two weeks.

Choose the prayer trends option on the setup page.

4. Save and enable the feature

Click “Turn on Shepherd AI Insights” (the button shown in the current screen). The first follow-up worklist is prepared right away; recent history can take a few minutes to appear.

Click Turn on Shepherd AI Insights to save your choices.

Explore your insights

After activation, the overview shows counts for prayer sessions, prayer warriors, requests, victory reports, and care contacts. The tabs below organize the details:

Follow-ups — Review items needing attention and items marked resolved. If there is nothing to address, the tab says so.

Prayer — See prayer activity, including the people most prayed for this week, private requests, the prayer wall, and the optional AI summary of prayer trends. The trends note describes overall themes, not individual requests. The screen explains that names are replaced by tokens before requests are analyzed.

Around town — View nearby community events to help your church identify opportunities to connect or serve. The setup screen describes these as local happenings over the next two weeks.

Note: The numbers and example summary in these screenshots are sample account data. Your church’s insights will depend on the information recorded in its account.

The Prayer tab can display a prayer trends summary and related prayer panels.
