How to Delete or Edit Contributions in SteepleMate

This guide walks you through the process of deleting contributions or batches of contributions in the Offering Management section of SteepleMate.

Step 1: Access Offering Management

  1. From the left navigation menu, select Finance.
  2. Choose Offering Management from the submenu.

Step 2: Deleting an Entire Batch

  1. On the Offering Management screen, locate the batch you want to delete.
  2. Check the box next to the batch name to select it.
  3. At the top of the table, click the Selected dropdown.
  4. From the dropdown menu, choose Delete.
  5. Confirm the deletion when prompted.

Step 3: Deleting Specific Contributions within a Batch

  1. Open the batch by clicking on its Details button.
  2. On the next screen, locate the specific contribution(s) you want to delete.
  3. Check the box next to the contribution(s) to select them.
  4. At the top of the table, click the Selected dropdown.
  5. Choose Delete from the dropdown menu.
  6. Confirm the deletion when prompted.

Step 4: Editing Contributions

  1. While viewing the details of a batch, locate the contribution you want to update.
  2. Click on the contribution to open the editing options.
  3. Make the necessary changes and save your updates.
Warning Note: Deleting contributions is permanent. Double-check your selections before confirming a deletion.
