How to Generate and Export the Consolidated Deposits Report

The Consolidated Deposits Report provides a comprehensive view of your organization’s financial contributions, breaking them down by fund and source over a selected time period. This report includes two charts and a detailed table, enabling you to analyze and track contributions with ease.

Step 1: Accessing the Consolidated Deposits Report

  • From the Finance menu, select Consolidated Deposits.
  • Choose the time period or define a specific date range, then click Search to generate the report.

Step 2: Understanding the Report

1. Deposit Breakdown by Fund

The Deposit Breakdown by Fund chart displays the total amount contributed to each fund category (e.g., Building Fund, Missions Fund) within the specified time period. This visual overview helps you quickly assess how much each fund has received.

2. Deposit Breakdown by Source

The Deposit Breakdown by Source chart shows the distribution of contributions by source, such as:

  • Cash
  • Check
  • Online
  • Other

This helps you understand the contribution channels and the volume of contributions through each method.

Step 3: Analyzing the Source and Fund Table

The table offers a detailed view of contributions by both source and fund. You can filter and sort the data, which includes:

  • Source and Amount: This column lists the type of source (e.g., cash, check) and the total amount contributed through each source.

  • Fund Rows: Each fund (e.g., Building Fund, General Fund) is displayed in its own row, with additional data on:

    • Source Type: The specific method used for the contribution (e.g., online, cash).
    • Amount Given by Source Type: The contribution amount associated with each source type.

Step 4: Printing and Exporting the Report

To print or export the report:

  • Use your browser’s Print function to print the page.
  • Alternatively, click Export (located above the table) and choose from available formats such as PDF, Excel, CSV, DOCX, or RTF.

Exporting Tip:

If you need to perform further analysis or share this data with others, exporting to Excel or CSV formats can be particularly useful for more detailed sorting and filtering.
