How to Pull the Payments Received Report in SteepleMate

The Payments Received Report in SteepleMate provides an overview of recent donations and allows you to generate reports for specific time periods. You can also export this report in various formats (e.g., CSV, Excel) or print it directly. This is also the best method of managing online payments made to the church via OfferingMate, without needing to sign into the Finance Portal. 

Access and use the Payments Received Report:


    1. On the left navigation menu, click Finance.
    2. Select Payments Received from the Finance submenu.


  1. Adjust the Date Range

    1. By default, the screen will display transactions from the most recent week.
    2. To view a different time period, adjust the Date Range fields to your desired start and end dates.

  2. Customize the Report

    1. Sort by Fund: Organize the report based on specific funds for easier analysis.
    2. Filter Transactions: You can choose to include or exclude non-approved transactions in your report.

  3. Generate the Report

    1. Click the dark blue Search button to generate the report. The screen will display detailed information about the transactions made during the selected time frame.

Additional Features of the Payments Received Report

  1. Move a Transaction to Another Fund: For recent transactions, you can reassign a contribution from one fund to another.
  2. Initiate Refunds: Refund a transaction directly from the report if needed.
  3. Send Receipts: Email receipts to contributors with a single click.

Printing the Report

  1. Print the Report: To print, use your browser’s print functionality. This can typically be accessed by pressing Ctrl+P (Windows) or Command+P (Mac).
