How to Set Up Call Forwarding in SteepleMate
Call forwarding is a great way for churches to stay responsive without being tied to a specific location or device. Whether you’re a pastor, admin, or volunteer, forwarding calls lets you receive church-related calls on your personal phone — while keeping boundaries and professionalism intact.
What happens when call forwarding is enabled:
You can specify which number(s) to forward calls to.
When a call comes in, you’ll have the option to accept, reject, or send it to voicemail.
This ensures you can screen calls and respond appropriately, even when you’re on the go.
It’s a flexible, ministry-friendly way to stay connected with your congregation.

Ensure You Have Selected a Church Number
You must have a church phone number already selected in the system before you can enable call forwarding.
Follow these steps to forward calls from your church number to another phone:
Navigate to Organization Settings
Open the Phone Settings Section
Scroll to the section titled Phone Numbers, Text Messaging, and Call Forwarding.
Add Forwarding Number
In the grid, locate the column labeled Forward To.
Double-click in that column to enter the phone number you want to forward calls to.
Save Your Changes
And that’s it! Your calls will now be forwarded to the number you entered.
