Email Messaging Features Setup Guide
The Email Messaging Features section allows you to integrate your existing email account so that emails can be sent directly from SteepleMate on your behalf.
Steps to Enable Email Messaging:
From the administration menu, select Organization Settings.
Click the "Email Messaging Features" section, then select "Enable Email".
Choose your email provider. Note that some email providers have varying security rules that require additional instructions; Gmail, Yahoo, Office365, Outlook, etc.
After reading the instructions that appear pertaining to your email provider, complete the form and click "Save".
Note: Some email providers have specific security rules that require additional steps. Be sure to read and follow the instructions that appear for your selected provider.
Click "Test Email" to verify the integration is successful.
Important:
Once the integration is complete, emails will be sent from your church email account, not from SteepleMate. Additionally, SteepleMate branding (such as logos) will not appear in the email footers, ensuring a seamless experience for your church members.
