Import Options and Validation

  1. Validate Cell Phone Numbers
If you want to ensure all cell numbers in your import are valid for texting, select the Validate Cell Numbers option. This process incurs a small one-time charge per number validation but ensures your contact numbers are accurate.

  2. First Row Contains Column Names
If the first row of your template contains the column headings (e.g., Name, Address, etc.), be sure to select this option so SteepleMate knows to ignore this row during the import.

  3. Mark Individuals as Active Members
If all the individuals you're importing are active members of your congregation, you can check the Mark All Individuals as Active Members option. This will automatically categorize them as active upon import.

Step 4: Completing the Import

Once you have reviewed and selected the additional options:

  1. Finalize the Upload
SteepleMate will process your file and begin importing your data. Depending on the size of your data file, this may take a few moments.

  2. Verify the Import
After the import completes, you can review the data in your Person Manager to ensure that everything has been imported correctly.
