Pre-Screening and Managing Prayer Requests
Quick Overview of the Prayer Network
SteepleMate’s Prayer Network is designed to help churches engage their communities in prayer through SteepleMate Web Kiosks (Browser-Based), On-Site Kiosks and the Mobile App.
The Prayer Network enables church members and guests to:
- Sign in for prayer
- Submit prayer requests
- Share testimonies of answered prayers
- View a live prayer feed
Church administrators have the ability to customize the Prayer Network settings through the Administration Menu and Organization Settings. These settings allow for full control over how prayer requests are managed and displayed to the church.
Configurable Settings
Church administrators can adjust configurations from Organization Settings.
Prayer Network Refresh Rate:
- Set how often the prayer feed refreshes and displays new requests.
Manual Review Options:
- Enable or disable manual review of prayer requests before they are made visible.
- Specifically review entries submitted by anonymous individuals.
Pre-Screening Groups:
- Create groups of individuals whose submissions require pre-screening.
- Useful for managing known malicious individuals to prevent inappropriate content from appearing on the feed.
Pre-Screening and Managing Prayer Requests

- Access the Kiosk Activity Section:
- From the left navigation menu select Kiosk Activity and then choose Manage Entries
.
- Define the date range for the report and choose the type of kiosk entry you want to review, such as:
- Prayer Requests
- Answered Prayers
- Private Messages
- Anonymous Submissions
- Select the specific types of individuals whose entries you want to include in the report:
- Church Family Contacts
- Guests Only
- Organizations
- Vendors
- Generate the Report: Once all filters are set, select the dark blue search button to generate the report.
- In the results screen, you will be able to:
- Approve: Allow the prayer entry to appear on the live feed.
- Edit: Make modifications to the content if necessary.
- Delete: Remove inappropriate or irrelevant submissions.
