Setting Up Contribution Statements in SteepleMate
(For Organization Owners or Account Creators)
As the organization owner or the account creator of SteepleMate, it’s essential to configure your contribution statement settings to ensure they meet your church’s needs. Follow these steps:
Accessing Contribution Statement Settings
- Navigate to Organization Settings:
- Go to the Administration menu.
- Select Organization Settings.

- Finance & Contribution Settings:
- Under Finance, OfferingMate, Merchant Account, locate the tile labeled Contributions.
Customizing Contribution Statements
- Enable/Disable Printing:
- Toggle the setting to allow or prevent people from printing their contribution statements.
- Edit the Greeting or Preamble:
- Customize the greeting that appears at the top of each contribution statement. You can write a personalized letter or message here.
- This text can be updated every time you generate new statements.

Tip: It’s recommended to disable printing until tax season to ensure statements are fully accurate and finalized.
