Signing Up for OfferingMate
Welcome to OfferingMate! Submitting your enrollment application is an essential step in setting up online giving for your church. By completing this process, you can start processing donations immediately. It’s important to ensure that all provided information is accurate and complete. Any inaccuracies or missing details might prevent your church from receiving online donations or deposits until your account is fully boarded. This guide will walk you through every step of the application process, helping you to set up your account.
Prepare Essential Documents
Before you start the application, ensure you have the following items ready:
- Legal Documents: Digital copies of your church bylaws, Articles of Incorporation, or 501(c)(3) certificate.
- Legal Name: The full legal name as it appears on IRS or other legal documents.
- Tax Details: Your organization's Tax ID/EIN.
- Banking Information: Details of your bank account, including online banking login, routing, and account numbers.
Enrollment Application
Navigate to Finance > OfferingMate Signup from the Main Menu.
1. Review Terms and Conditions Carefully read the terms and conditions. Click [Continue] to proceed. Understand the requirements for verification and supporting documents.
2. Upload Legal and Essential Documents
Click [Browse] to select your document files (only picture or PDF formats). Click [Open], then [Sign Up] to move on to the Merchant Application.
3. Complete the Merchant Application
- Business Section: Choose NONPROFIT as the category, verify the country, confirm you are not a public company, and enter your legal business name, statement descriptor, industry code (8661 – Religious Organizations), EIN, and contact details.
- Business Details: Fill in the business overview, address, and account login information. Provide details about expected transaction volumes and amounts.
- Owners: Enter owner information including names, contact details, DOB, SSN, business title, and home addresses. Add additional owners if applicable.
- Bank: Link your existing bank account or enter bank details manually.
- Terms & Conditions: Review, print, or save the documents.
- Click [Sign Up] after agreeing to the terms and confirming your information.
4. Confirmation and Follow-up
- After submitting your application, a confirmation link will be sent to your email. You must confirm your account before it can be activated.
- A SteepleMate team member will reach out to assist with any further steps.
