SteepleMate Access Levels

Understanding the different access levels within SteepleMate helps ensure that everyone has the right tools and permissions to perform their role effectively. This guide outlines the capabilities tied to each access level, from the most basic user interactions to full administrative control.



1. KioskUser

Key Features:

  • Navigation: Access the kiosk menu and navigate basic functions.
  • Participation: Participate in giving through the kiosk or mobile app.
  • Child Check-In: Check children into Sunday School (if applicable).
  • Church Calendar: View the church's upcoming events and activities.
  • Chat Response: Respond to chat messages from the church.
  • Forms and Surveys: Access and complete any forms or surveys made available by church administration.

Ideal For: General church attendees and those needing basic access to participate in church activities.



2. AttendanceTeam

Includes all features of KioskUser, plus:

Key Features:

  • Group Management: Manage groups you lead via the Group Leader Portal.
  • Task Access: Access and complete tasks assigned to you.
  • Attendance Tracking: Track attendance for services, events, and activities under your supervision.

Ideal For: Group leaders, volunteers, and staff who need to track and manage attendance.



3. MediaCenter

Includes all features of AttendanceTeam, plus:

Key Features:

  • Church Library Management: Organize and maintain the church’s library of media resources.
  • Announcement Scheduling: Schedule announcements for services and events.
  • Website and Mobile App: Assist in managing content and media on the church website and mobile app.

4. CareCenter

Includes all features of MediaCenter, plus:

Key Features:

  • Comprehensive People Management: Full access to manage member profiles, attendance, and involvement in church activities.
  • Calendar and Events: Full control over the church calendar and event scheduling.
  • Report Access: Access all types of reports, including attendance, financial, and event participation.
  • Kiosk Management: Manage the kiosk and its associated activities.
  • Advanced Communication Tools: Send messages to individuals or groups, create forms, surveys, and manage the responses.

5. Administrator

Includes all features of CareCenter, plus:

6. SuperUser

Includes all features of Administrator, plus:

  • Full System Control: Unrestricted access to all system settings, data, and features across the SteepleMate platform.
  • Ultimate Permissions: Ability to manage every aspect of the system, including user permissions, financial data, and advanced configurations.

Ideal For: Senior church leaders or system managers who need to oversee all functions of SteepleMate.
