Announcements Not Showing on Kiosk | Troubleshooting Guide - SteepleMate FAQ

FAQ: Why aren’t my announcements showing on my Kiosk?

If your announcements are not appearing on your Kiosk, there could be a few reasons. Here are the steps to troubleshoot and ensure they display correctly:

Check Time and Timezone Settings:

Make sure that the time and timezone settings on your kiosk machine are accurate. Incorrect time settings can prevent scheduled announcements from displaying properly. For the best results, allow Windows to automatically manage the time settings or sync the device to a reliable time server. This ensures that your machine stays updated with the correct time and time zone.

Verify the Schedule Settings:

Double-check that the announcement schedule aligns with the current time. If the announcements are set to display at specific times, they will only show during those periods. Adjust the schedule if necessary to ensure the announcements are set to display during the desired time frames.

Select the Correct Machine and Announcements:

Ensure that the kiosk machine in question is properly selected for the announcements. Also, make sure that the announcements you expect to display are included in the schedule for that particular machine. This step is crucial for matching the content to the correct kiosk location.

By following these steps, you should be able to resolve the issue and ensure that your announcements appear as expected on the kiosk.
