Setting Up Your Church Voicemail in SteepleMate

Important: Before setting up your voicemail, make sure you have completed the setup for your free 1-800 number. If you haven’t done this yet, please refer to the
Church Number Setup Guide to complete this step first.
Steps to Set Up Your Voicemail:
Access Organization Settings
From the
Administration menu (left navigation), go to Organization Settings.

Select
Phone Numbers, Text Messaging, and Call Forwarding.

Locate the number you want to edit in the grid and click on the Voicemail link.
You will be taken to a new screen where you can upload your
custom voicemail message.

Default Voicemail Message
If you do not upload a custom message, the default voicemail will say: “Sorry, all of our operators are unavailable at this time. Please leave your name, phone number, and a brief message after the tone, and we will reach out to you as soon as possible.”
Save Your Message
Once you’ve uploaded your custom voicemail message, click Save.
Your voicemail setup is complete!
