How to Use the Communicator Report in SteepleMate

The Communicator Report in SteepleMate helps your church review communication activity over a selected period of time. This report shows recorded communication touchpoints and helps you understand how your team has been connecting with people through calls, texts, meetings, letters, and more.


What the Communicator Report Shows

The Communicator Report gives you a summary of communication activity during a selected date range. This can help your church review follow-up efforts, care activity, and guest communication trends.

Depending on the recorded entries, the report can show totals for communication methods such as: phone calls, text messages, emails, meetings, faxes, letters, social media, Bible studies, other communication types.


Open the Communicator Report

To access the report:

  1. In the left navigation menu, select Reports.

  2. Click Communicator Report.



Set Report Filters

Before running the report, update the filters as needed.

Date Range

Choose the date range you want to review.

People Types

Select the types of records you want to include in the report. Available options include: Church Family, Contacts, Guests, Organizations, Other, Vendor

After setting your filters, click View Report.



Review the Report Results

Once the report loads, SteepleMate will display a list of communication activity recorded during the selected date range.

This allows you to review:

  • the total number of communication activities

  • the breakdown of communication methods used

  • the people included in the report during that time period


View Communication Details for an Individual

If you expand the details for a specific person, the report will also show the communication entries recorded on that person’s profile.

This helps you review the actual communication history tied to that individual, including the interactions your team documented.



When to Use This Report

The Communicator Report can be helpful for:

  • reviewing guest follow-up efforts

  • tracking member care activity

  • measuring communication volume over time

  • checking outreach consistency

  • preparing weekly or monthly follow-up reviews
