How to Manually Grant System Access

In SteepleMate, you can manually grant system access to individuals, allowing them to log in and interact with the platform. This guide will show you how to create a login for users and provide them with the appropriate access.

Step 1: Access People Management

  1. From the left navigation menu, click on Manage, then select People.
  2. Enter the name of the head of the family or the individual you want to grant system access to, and click Search to locate their profile.

Step 2: Open the Access Section

  1. Once you have located the person’s profile, scroll down slightly to find the Access section.
  2. Click on the Access header to expand this section.

Step 3: Create a Login

  1. In the Access section, click on Create Login to begin the process of granting system access.
  2. Complete the required information, including:
    • Username: Set a unique username for the user.
    • Password: Assign a password for the new user or allow the system to auto-generate one.
    • Access Role: Specify the user’s access role or permissions within the system.

Step 4: Grant Access

  1. After filling out the necessary details, click on Grant/Update to finalize the login creation.
  2. A confirmation message will appear. Click Confirm to officially grant the individual system access.

Additional Tips:

  • Access Roles: Ensure that you assign the appropriate access level to the user, based on their role or involvement in the organization.
  • Password Management: Encourage users to update their password after their first login to ensure account security.
