How to Send a Message to a Group in SteepleMate

Sending messages to a group rather than just an individual is a more efficient way to communicate. It ensures that relevant information is relayed to multiple people simultaneously, saving time and effort. This guide will walk you through the steps of sending a message to a group using SteepleMate.


Step 1: Manage Groups

  1. Navigate to the Care Center

    • From the left navigation menu, click on Care Center.
    • Then click on Manage Groups.
  2. Add or Select a Group

    • If you need to create a new group, click on Add New.
    • Alternatively, select an existing group.
  3. Add Members to the Group

    • Click on Members.
    • To add a new person to the group, click on Add Person and fill in the details.

Step 2: Send a Message to the Group

  1. Access the Messaging Feature

    • Navigate to the left navigation menu, click on Communicate.
    • Then click on Send Messages.
  2. Create a New Message

    • Click on Create New to start composing your message.
    • Choose the type of message you want to send (Text SMS, Mobile App Chat, etc.).
  3. Compose Your Message

    • Enter the Message Subject and set the delivery date and expiration date (if needed).
    • Type your message in the Message Text field.
  4. Optional: Send via Mobile App

    • If you prefer to send the message through the mobile app (where possible), click the box for Send to mobile app instead when possible.

Step 3: Select and Send to the Group

  1. Select the Group

    • Click on Groups to choose the group(s) to which you want to send the message.
    • Click on the name of the group(s) to include them in the message recipient list.
  2. Continue and Send

    • After selecting the group(s), click Continue to review the details.
    • Once everything is ready, click Send Now to deliver the message.
